Custom Hinges

Daro Industries engineering department can custom design a hinge for almost any application. Please note that we can only manufacture hinges starting at 3/16" thick (0.1875) and greater. We don't offer continuous or piano hinges. Our designers will work with you to ensure the design meets your needs. We can fabricate hinges from many materials including: steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, aluminum and brass. E-mail, call, or fax us with your specs.

Please allow 4-6 weeks on all custom orders. Custom orders require a minimum order of $200.

Please have the following information when calling about a custom hinge.

1)    Door weight

2)    Door dimensions (length x width x thickness)

3)    Door material

4)    Mounting type (full surface, mortised, etc...)

5)    Frequency of use

6)    Environment (inside or outside)

7)    Type of application used for (access, radiation shielding, oven, gate, barn, etc...)

8)    Hinge Material (steel, stainless steel, other)

9)    Hinge type (Butt, Strap, cam-lift, lift off, adjustable, ect.)

10)  Hand of hinge (left or right)

11)  If possible, a sketch or drawing of your application
